AATF CT Participant Information

 

Assumption of Risk: Participants acknowledge that attending the event and participating in the activities therein may pose inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, loss, or damage to the Participant or their property. Participants willingly assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if they arise from the negligence of the Organization or others, and accept personal responsibility for any damages following such injury, permanent disability, or death.

 

Release and Waiver: Participants, on behalf of themselves and their successors, assigns, heirs, and next of kin, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue the AATF or the AATF Connecticut Chapter, their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, or sponsors (collectively "Releasees") from any and all liability to the Participant and indemnifies the Releasees from any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses of any nature whatsoever, whether in law or equity, whether known or unknown, and whether anticipated or unanticipated by the Participant, arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Participant or to any property belonging to the Participant, while participating in or arising out of the event or any activities associated with the event.

 

Photo and Video Release: Participants understand that AATF-CT may take photographs and videos during the event. The Participant hereby consents to the use of these photographs and/or videos without compensation, on the Organization's website or in any editorial, promotional, or advertising material produced and/or published by the Organization.

NOTE: As artists are only performing in our area for a limited engagement, in case of a snow day or any other need for postponement or cancellation, the AATF will refund any payment received for tickets, but is not responsible for any other related expenses (such as transportation costs, etc.).  Please note the following, from the John Lyman Center Terms Of Use: John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts cannot be held responsible for any cost or damage such postponement or cancellation may incur. ...John Lyman Center for the Performing Arts cannot be held responsible or liable for injuries, loss or damages incurred by patrons while attending (these) events.
